GROW!

We participate in the Interreg GROW! project where we investigate the application of wireless sensor technology to monitor climate conditions, plant health and nutrition and final production. These new Internet-of-Things (IoT) applications will enable growers to better monitor their crops and adjust the growing conditions in order to optimize crop health, yield and quality. We are collaborating with different partners (University of Antwerp, Flemish Center for Post harvest Storage, Research Station Hoogstraeten, Imec NL, TNO Holst Center, HAS college and LTO glaskracht) to successfully introduce the latest wireless sensors in greenhouses (for tomato and lettuce) and chicory forcing facilities.
